The Department of Public Safety is staffed by fully trained police officers that are certified by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. All crimes are investigated by seasoned police officers and prosecuted by the Franklin County District Attorney's Office. For EMERGENCIES, property loss, lost and found or to report suspicious persons, call ext. 7400 you may also dial 911 from any phone on campus. The University of Maine at Farmington, Department of Public Safety is committed to safety and crime prevention on campus.
